Jackie Petrie
The reason that I decided to become a Personal Trainer is not because I loved fitness from a young age, or because I love the gym environment or even because I enjoy the feeling of a good workout; the reason I became a PT is because I felt the opposite.
As a child I hated Sports and P.E, both due to the social elements and the activity itself. This unhealthy attitude towards exercise and socialising lead me to develop an unhealthy lifestyle. My family feared for both how overweight I was becoming and how little I socialised and so they encouraged me to join a dance class. From there my hatred of exercise diminished and my confidence grew, enough for me to want to participate in activities. I came to understand that it was the people who supported me that made the difference to my attitude. This is the very reason why I want to encourage and support those who wish to feel more confident.
If better confidence and knowledge in the gym is what you want, then contact me and I’ll be waiting to support you all the way.
